摘　　要：对美英报刊标题的写作特点从时态、选词、修辞等方面进行了归纳总结,并指出学会读标题 还应具备一定的文学修养和背景知识,注意平时各方面知识的积累。Besides the literary arts, the most popular media of modern English is the 'mass media' which mainly includes American and British press. So it's helpful to read it frequently. This article analyzes the writing features of headlines from the point of tense, diction ,rhetoric ect. It also points out the significance of daily knowledge accumulation of various fields.
