摘  要:近年来,通过网络支持科学教育的模式已经成为当今教育界改革的典范之一。我国的“做中学”(LearningByDoing)科学教育项目正在进行此项尝试。作为“做中学”项目的中心网络,汉博网根据项目需要构建了网络拓扑结构及建构框架,建设了“应用研究支持平台”和“基础研究支持平台”,取得了良好的效果。In 2001, the Ministry of Education and the China Science and Technology Association decided to introduce a reform for science education in China which emphasizes learning by doing. This reform aims at developing China's basic science education and improving the scientific knowledge of the entire Chinese people. The application of the WWW is one of the key elements in this reform and it is strongly emphasized in the relevant teacher training and information. The Handsbrain Chinese Science Education for Young Children is the website for this Learning-By-Doing Project. Two support platforms, one for basic research and the other for applied research, have been constructed. The basic research support platform uses network technology to construct an online center for research resources and collaborative research. The latest research on neuroscience and early child development and education was collected, compiled and stored on the Internet. Most of this research is related to China's situation. The applied research support platform is a key element in the Ministry of Education's Learning-By-Doing Project. This science education website is open to different parts of China and serves an illustrative purpose for similar projects. Handsbrain has achieved significant results and in future will extend its collaboration with organizations in order to provide better online services and to better protect the intellectual property of teachers who have contributed resources to the databank.
