摘　　要：步入21世纪的高等教育要与时俱进、持续发展，师德建设为关键一环。本文从社会发展迫切要求培养高素质新型人才的角度，以开展师德建设、全面提高承担培养人才重任的教育工作者素质的观点，理论与实践相结合，论述了高等院校建立一支与时俱进的教师队伍的重要意义。College education of 21st century must be a sustainable development. During this process, the step of improving teachers' moral integrity is of great importance. So in this article, the significance of building up a team of modern college teachers is discussed: the starting point is the opinion that teachers' moral integrity and qualities must be improved and the final goal is to foster a group of high-quality personnel to suit the new 21st century.
