摘　　要：文章简要回顾了最近二十年中国译学界对翻译单位命题研究的状况 ,指出了其存在的缺陷与不足。以此为切入点 ,文章着力从 1)认识论、方法论 ;2 )科学的研究态度二个方面深刻剖析了这一时期中国译学界在包括对“什么是翻译的单位”On the basis of examination of researches into the issue of 'what is the unit of translation' over the past decades, the author of this paper presents an in depth cause analysis of the flaws related to the inquiry of UT and other basic issues of translation studies in China over the said period in terms of epistemology, methodology and research approach.
