摘 要:席勒作为新思想的预言家,在人类历史上第一个提出“美育”概念,并写出第一部美育论著,成为对资本主义进行审美批判的纲领性文献。它标志着西方美学由思辨的认识论美学到人生的存在论美学的转向,具有划时代的意义。席勒建立了以人本主义哲学为基础,包含“自由”的内涵、“中介”的作用、以“自由的表现”的艺术为手段等丰富内容的美育理论体系。席勒的美育理论在20世纪初介绍到中国,对我国的美学与教育事业产生了重要影响。当前,它在培养学会“审美生存”的一代新人、德育教育、教育改革与美育学科建设方面仍具有重要作用。As a prophet of new ideas, Schiller was the first person that put forward the concept of “aesthetic education” and had written a book on it, which has become a programmatic document for aesthetical critiques of capitalism. It signals a shift of western aesthetics from the epistemological contemplation to the existential understanding of life, the significance of which is epochal. Based on humanistic philosophy, Schiller established a system of aesthetic education laying emphasis on freedom, mediation and artistic expression of freedom, etc.. It was introduced into China at the beginning of 20th century and has since exerted great influence on the development of aesthetics and education in China. Currently, it is very important for the new generation to learn to live aesthetically and to play a key role in educational reform and in the construction of the discipline of aesthetic education.
