摘 要:隐喻是一种普遍现象,隐喻性的语言不仅出现在文学文本中,而且还充斥着我们的日常语言,隐喻无处不在.因此,语言的理解不仅仅指语言字面意义的理解,还包括对说话人话语中隐喻意义的理解.学习第二语言的同时实际上也是对一种新的隐喻方式的理解和适应过程.本文试图结合概念合成理论,重点探讨隐喻性语言的理解机制,以及该理论对第二语言教学的启示和指导作用.Metaphorical language is a universal phenomenon which appears not only in literature texts but also in everyday language. Metaphor is everywhere. Therefore, the understanding of language refers not only to the literal meaning, but also to the metaphorical meaning that involved in the speech of the speakers. Learning a second language is in fact a process of understanding and adapting to a new way of metaphor. This paper will focus on the understanding mechanism of metaphorical language and the enlightenment that the mechanism brings to the teaching of English as a second language.
