摘　　要：高校图书馆在培养大学生素质方面有着得天独厚的优势,它所发挥的作用,是课堂教学所无法替代的。高校图书馆应化大力气打造优雅环境、丰富馆藏,培养一支高素质的馆员队伍,建立信息素质教育体系,开拓服务领域,积极开展大学生素质教育,以充分发挥学校图书馆在素质教育中的作用。<Abstrcat>The library in the institution of higher learning enjoys unrivalled superiority in training students' quality. The role it plays cannot be replaced with class education. Therefore, the library in the institution of higher learning should have elegant and quiet surroundings, a rich collection and hi-quality librarians. Meanwhile, it should set up an information system for quality-oriented education, develop a new field for service and actively carry out quality-oriented education of students so as to bring it into full play in the quality-oriented education.
