摘　　要：“信、达、雅”是我国著名的翻译家严复提出的翻译思想,我国翻译实践家们历来以此为翻译标准。本文摘取了《红楼梦》译本TheDreamofRedMansion第三回中三段译文进行了分析与评鉴,讨论了译者在翻译过程中是如何遵循并运用“信、达、雅”翻译原则的。“Xin Da Ya” is the theory of translation proposed by Yan Fu, a famous translator in China. The translators in China have always been considering it as the criteria of translating in their practice of translation. In this paper, the author selects three excerpts in Chapter 3 of The Dream of Red Mansion to analyze and appraise, and discuss how the translators obey the three-character criteria.
