摘 要:语言测试的后效研究是针对考试的使用及其影响的研究,它需要结合考试的实际使用情境,并建立在实证的基础上.本研究就现有的四级考试,在学习者当中进行了一项后效调查.结果表明,当考试被当作主要教学评价手段,学习者表现出对考试权威性的认同;考试影响了学习者学习的态度、内容、方式,速度和顺序以及学习的广度和深度等,但这些影响在学习者因素上表现出了一定的差异.事实上,任何评价手段一经使用,都会产生后效作用,其作用的机理需在具体的教学与评价情境中才能得以确定.Backwash study concerns about the use of a test and the effect it brings about. Empirical data based on the context is critical to the accountability of such study. This study employs the tools of questionnaire and interview to investigate the students’ perception of CET-4. The results show students, in a context where a language test is used as a major tool for course evaluation, tend to respect and trust the authority of the test. The test in return influences the contents, methods, pace as well as depth of their learning. These influences vary in some degree among different students. In fact, any evaluation tool, once used, can have impact, the mechanism of which can only be studied in the concrete teaching and evaluation context.
