摘　　要：医学英语属于专用英语。运用语用学的基本原理可以更好地解释医学英语中的某些特点和表达规律。在翻译过程中,一定要根据语境,准确理解话语所表达的真实意图,遵循目的语的表达习惯和规范,再现原文的语义。Medical English is a branch of ESP. The application of the basic principles of Pragrnatics may help us to better explain some features and modes of expressions of Medical English. In the process of translating Medical English, the translator should at first grasp the real intention of the source language through context and recreate the original essence while observing the modes of expressions and norms of the target language.
