摘　　要：20世纪20年代初中期,胡适主要是对西方在华教会教育的宗教性和非教育性进行批判,主张教会教育要进行符合时代发展和中国利益的变革;从20年代后期开始,他转而对教会教育作了全面肯定。本文结合教会教育对中国现代文化教育发展所起的两重性作用,认为胡适从科学理性精神和全盘西化观立场出发对教会教育所作的评价,既有合理、符合历史事实的方面,也存在非历史主义和抹杀教会教育殖民侵略性的方面。From the beginning of the 1920s to the mid - 1920s, Hu Shi criticized Western missionary schools in China for being too religious and suggested that these schools should carry out educational reforms to correspond with the Chinese interests. But, since the late 1920s, he completely changed his attitude, highly praising the missionary schools. The present paper holds that Hu Shi＇s views on Western missionary education in China were objective and rational, but they also obliterated the colonialistic aspects of the missionary education.
