摘　　要：语言和文化是相互依存,相互影响的。论述了英语教学和文化之间不可分割的关系,提出在英语课堂导入文化的论点。从读写课程和听说课程两个方面来说明大学英语教学和文化教学相结合的重要性和可行性,以及如何在英语教学中融入文化教学,最终培养学生的语言能力和交际能力。Language and culture are independent and influence each other. The author demonstrates the inseparable relation between English teaching and culture, put forward the idea of involving culture into English class and illustrates the importance and feasibility of combining English teaching with culture teaching in reading, writing, listening and speaking courses of colleges. This paper also provides some ways on how to introduce culture into English class and develop students＇ ability of language and communication.
