摘　　要：散文英译应以作为中西艺术哲学比较研究的中西比较美学为指归。为了实现散文英译在美学观上从“含蓄朦胧”到“显豁明晰”的跨越,译者应充分认识并尊重汉英两种语言之间的差异,在翻译过程中采取积极的语言策略,努力实现汉英语际差异在语汇层面、句法层面以及语篇层面上的转化,从而实现中西美学观之间的移易,促成译作对原作的审美再现。Prose translation from Chinese to English should orientate itself ultimately towards Sino-western Comparative Aesthetics. The concept of “implicitness” and “explicitness”, as a basic difference between the Chinese and western aesthetics, might help the translator take active lexical, syntactic and textual strategies to effect the aesthetic transformation and simultaneously the artistic reproduction in prose translation from Chinese to English.
