摘　　要：为了提高学报编辑的水平和办好高校学报,对高校学报编辑的素质要求进行了研究。认为学报编辑必须学好马克思列宁主义的理论,掌握党和国家的方针、政策,具备良好的职业道德素质。由于现代科学技术的高速发展,编辑必须建构起合理的知识结构,能够运用科学的思维方法进行选题、审稿,必须具备精湛的语言文字能力、外语水平。同时,还要学好、用好计算机和网络等编辑工具,掌握编辑技能,以满足编辑工作的需要。高校的学术氛围有利于编辑学术水平的提高,每一个学报编辑都应该努力提高自己某一方面的修养,争取做一个学者型编辑。To improve the level of journal editors and to do the editing work well, the requirement on editors＇ qualifications is studied. It is believed that journal editors must learn the theories on Marxism and Leninism well, grasp the outline and polity of the Party and country, and obtain good vocational and moral qualifica- tions. Because of the fast development of modern science and technology, the editors must construct a rational knowledge structure, choose the thesis, and examine the articles utilizing scientific thoughts. They must have excellent literal ability and qualification to use foreign languages. At the same time, they have to know the way to use a computer and internet, and obtain editing skills so as to meet the needs of editing work. The college circumstance is good for the improvement of the academic level of editors, and every editor should try hard to enhance his ability and be a scholarly editor.
