摘　　要：美国超验主义作家梭罗的《瓦尔登湖》,自1949年被徐迟首先译介到我国以来,已有十几个译本。在文学多元系统中,由于时代背景、历史文化等原因,《瓦尔登湖》时而被密切关注,时而被排斥到时代文化的边缘。翻译文学在整个文学多元系统中的地位,决定了不同时代的译者不同的翻译策略。Polysystem theory may explain some cases of literary translati6n. After a brief introduction to polysystem theory and an analysis of its application to different translated versions of Walden, the author attempts to study what consequences may be caused to the translational strategies by the position of translated literature in the literary polysystem.
