摘　　要：开发多媒体网络教学的潜在资源是大学英语教学中的重要组成部分。作为上海大学外语教学改革的阶段性成果之一，本文在大学英语多媒体网络教学实验数据的基础上，介绍并讨论了多媒体网络技术在节约教师资源和保持教学效果中的积极作用。同时，我们提出一系列展望，以期推动外语教学进一步向前发展。To explore the potential functions of multimedia and Internet constitutes an important part of college English instruction. Being one of the successive outcomes of the FLT experimentation in Shanghai University, this article, based on a set of statistics collected from our teaching experimentation, reports and discusses the positive roles that multimedia and Interact technology ~an play in economizing teacher resources and maintaining teaching effect. Meanwhile, a series of suggestions has been proposed so as to further promote the development of foreign language teaching.
