Food manufacturers realise that as consumers become increasingly more health conscious, the demand for this market sector will continue to grow. The growth in low carbohydrate diets and consequent products, as well as the upward trend for low glycaemic lifestyle choices has had a positive effect on stimulating interest in sugar replacement products.
