摘　　要：语言和思维关系密切,思维是语言的灵魂,语言是思维的载体。不同民族文化背景下的思维与修辞模式形成各种书面语言的不同风格。英语语言思维作为英语语言符号的内部运行机制,在其“思”、“想”的过程中形成其独特的运行特制,我国学生英语作文中遇到的困难,除了语言知识和技能外,更主要的是源于中西思维模式的差异。languages are related to thoughts closely. Thoughts are the soul of languages, and languages are the carrier of thoughts.Thoughts ad rhetoric under the different cultures have formed different styles of written languages. English thoughts,as the internal operational system of English language symbol,have formed its special operational characteristics in the process of thoughts,Therefore, the difficulties Chinese students met in their writing, besides partly due to the language knowledge and skills, are mainly related to the differences from different thoughts between China and western countries.
