摘　　要：提高成人高等函授教育的质量，一要明确办学目的、端正办学方向；二要鼓励函授教师参加硕士、博士学位学习或参加科研活动，不断提高专业理论水平和实践能力；三要加强函授教学过程的管理，严把毕业设计关、论文关；四要将现代教育技术手段融入函授教学中，促进学员学习的自主化、灵活化、终身化。Improving adult higher correspondence education quality should, firstly, have clear school - running objectives and correct school - running orientation. Secondly, teachers of correspondence education should get further education to get the master＇s, even doctor＇s degree, participate in scientific research, and improve specialized theoretic level and practical ability gradually. Thirdly, teaching management of correspondence education should be strengthened and graduating designs and papers should be examined strictly. Finally, modem education techniques and methods should be adopted in order to help students to make independent, flexible and life - long learning.
