摘　　要：二元函数极值与无穷级数这两部分教学内容抽象难懂,利用Mathematica软件强大的符号计算和图形处理功能,可以加强这部分教学内容的几何直观,弥补学生空间想象能力的不足。实践证明,教学中多辅以一些这类软件,借助于多媒体技术实现抽象数学概念和理论的直观可视化,不仅可以提高学生的学习兴趣和加深对教学内容的理解,而且还可以提高学生运用计算机软件的能力。Extreme value of binary function and infinite se ries are too abstract and difficult to understand. The powerful functions of symbol computing and graphic processing of Mathematiea Software can improve the geometric object of these two parts to counteract students＇ weaknesses in space imagination. As practice has proved, in teaching of advanced maths these kinds of software with the help of multimedia technology can visualize the abstract concepts and principles, which will surely enhance students＇ interest in maths learning and help them to better understand the leaching content and improve their ability in making use of computer software as well.
