超句意识、主位结构与汉译英主语的确定

摘　　要：确定主语是汉译英影响译文质量的重要一步,在科技语篇的汉译英中更是如此。为恰当地选择和确定主语以使译文逻辑严密、行文流畅,本文提出要从把握和熟悉科技语篇各种被动表达形式、增强超句意识、利用主位推进模式的结构着手。Identification of the subject in a sentence is the key to the production of a logical and fluent translation, and this is especially true for the translation of scientific texts since Chinese scientific texts use different forms of passive structures. It is thus proposed that, in order to produce smooth translation of scientific texts, translators need to have a good knowledge of passive structures and fine understanding of the theory of thematic progression.
