摘　　要：本文从四个方面综述了有关英语作为第一语言的写作认知心理过程的研究。首先简要回顾了从20世纪60/70年代至今相关研究的发展脉络和研究主线;然后介绍了涉及英语写作总过程和子过程的研究,其中包括对写作本质的重新认识和对计划、表达、修改等阶段的探索等,最后重点叙述了几种影响较大的写作心理认知模式理论。本文最后总结了上述研究的开拓性、意义以及后来对第二语言和外语写作的重大影响。This paper reviews studies on English-as-L1 writing processes concerning the cognitive and psychological perspectives. In four sections, it first summarizes the developmental tendency arid three overlapping lines along which studies in this respect have moved along. Then it describes and evaluates studies on the general process and subpro-cesses of English writing, particularly those on redefining the nature of writing and those concerning planning, text-generating and revising stage. Finally, it describes and comments on several major cognitive models of the writing process. This paper ends with evaluations on the significance and influences of these studies on later studies concerning ESL and EFL/FL writing research.
