摘　　要：汉语和英语是两种在结构体系上异多于同的语言。在表量词上,汉语中有量词一类词而英语中则没有,英语中表量词是归入名词类的。另外,汉语量词表示的意义比较宽,而英语表量词所表示的意义比较窄。它们在用法上也有不同的特点。因此,在翻译时,仅仅寻求汉英表量词的对等是不够的,只有弄清它们之间的区别,才能进行准确地翻译。Chinese and English belong to different language systems, and their differences are also reflected in measure words. In Chinese, there is a part of speech called measure words, but in English measure words are grouped into nouns. They have differences in expressing meanings and in usages. As to their translation, we can adopt some flexible translating techniques to make the translation and its original forms not only alike in appearance but also in spirit.
