语义场理论对大学英语词汇教学的启示

摘　　要：词汇教学在大学英语教学中起着举足轻重的作用,但目前仍然存在许多问题,这些问题制约着大学英语教学。而语义场理论是现代语义学研究的一个重要成果,为词汇教学提供了系统的理论依据。本文试通过对语义场理论的探讨,探索大学英语词汇教学的策略与方法,并希望以此扩大学生的词汇量,提高英语词汇教学的效率,推动大学英语教学改革。Vocabulary instruction plays a vital role in the college English learning. However, there are many problems, which have hindered the college English teaching. The semantic field theory is one of important outcome of the modem semantics researches, which lay the theoretical foundation on the vocabulary instruction. Through elucidating the semantic theory systematically, this article tries to probe into strategies and methods of the college English vocabulary instruction, which will expand students＇ vocabulary, and will raise the efficiency of vocabulary instruction, and will propel the college English teaching reform.
