文明修身内涵的理性审视

摘　　要：现代文明修身是人们在批判地继承我国传统道德教育思想和吸取西方道德教育精华的基础上,自觉提高精神生活质量和促使行为方式科学化的一种内求诸己的自我实现活动过程,以及人在这一过程中呈现出的精神状态和精神境界。社会转型和生活“意义范式”的转变,造成时代性的意义危机,人们必须寻求新的生活方式,现代文明修身不仅是提高人的道德修养、提升人的生活质量的重要途径,也是人的基本存在方式,人们进行现代文明修身的过程就是生活意义的追寻过程。The self-cultivation of modern civilization is the activity that the people consciously increase quality of spirit life and promote scientific behavior. It is the mental state and the spiritual realm during the course of self-realization, too. The theory requires that people critically carry on the traditional thoughts of moral education and absorb the essence of western moral education. The meaning crisis of the times requires us to search for the new lifeslyle because of social transformation and paradigm change of meaning in life. The self-cultivation of modern civilization is not only an important way to improve morality and quality of life, but also a means of existence of human beings. The course of the self-cuhivation of modern civilization is that of searching for meaning in life.
