摘  要:清末民初,中国留学教育呈现出一种多元化的新格局,这种趋向适于建构多层次的知识结构和合理的专业门类,并有助于提升整个教育水准,亦适应了中国国情和现代化发展的需要。此特征乃是中国教育近代化最为显著的标识之一。At the end of Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, the education of studying abroad had a pluralistic tendency, which was conducive both to the construction of a multi-layered knowledge structure and a reasonable specialty division as well as the raising of the overall educational level. Besides, it was suited to the Chinese situation and met with the requirements of modernization. This characteristic is one of the most striking marks in the educational modernization of China.
