摘　　要：分析了英语教学交际法的实质及其与语言的准确性和流利性的关系,强调培养学习者语言能力和在交际中恰当应用的能力才是科学的交际法教学,并以现代语言学和第二语言习得理论为依据,探讨了实施交际法教学的方法和策略。This paper analyses the central points of Communicative Language Teaching and the relationship between the language accuracy and fluency in the application of this approach. Meanwhile it is emphasized that the truth of Teaching Language as Communication lies in cultivating learners’ linguistic skills and communicative abilities. Furthermore, it probes into the strategies for adopting this communicative approach to the teaching of language on the basis of modern linguistics and second language acquisition theory.
