摘  要:医学生在英语阅读中元认知策略的使用情况调查结果表明,医学生在英语阅读中能够不同程度地使用元认知策略,使用较多的是选择注意类,其次是计划类,最末是监控类和评价类。各项元认知策略与学生的英语阅读成绩都呈现显著相关。在预先计划和选择注意类篡略的使用上,成绩优秀者和成绩较差者并无明显差异,但成绩优秀的学生比成绩较差的学生更多地使用自我监控类和自我评价类策略。This article reports an empirical study on medical students' use of metacognitive strategies in English reading. The results showed that the medical students used metacognitive strategies more or less in English reading. Among the four categories of metacognitive strategies, what the students' use most was the category of selective attention, followed by planning category, while the monitoring category and evaluating category were the least used. Metacognitive strategies were closely related to the students' reading proficiency level. Successful learners used the monitoring and evaluating strategies more frequently than unsuccessful learners although they did not differ significantly.
