摘  要:以数学竞赛教育为例,介绍了教育家和数学家对数学竞赛教育的态度.指出:了竞赛教育不是精英教育,是变相的应试教育;竞赛教育只能培养学生的解题技巧,不能培养学生探究科学的思维;竞赛考试缺乏监督,无法确保考试的规范性和公正性;参加竞赛训练的部分学生不是真正的学科爱好者,只是为升学而学习的急功近利者.最后提出了几点思考.Based on math competition education, this article introduces the opinion of educationalists and mathematicians. They believe that competition education is not elite education. It is just another style of "examination - targeted education". For it can only train for the technique of solving the problem, but not for the scientific research ability'. Competition exam lacks supervision which makes exam fair and normative. And some participants just aim at entering a higher school or the additional points in eleven - plus. They do not like the subject at all. At last, some reflections are put forward to improve the competition education.
