摘　　要：大学英语教学是一个涉及多因素的复杂的系统工程,大学英语教学改革自启动以来受到了外语教学界的极大关注。本文通过问卷调查和数据对比方式介绍了泰山学院开展创新大学英语教学模式实验的内容、特点,探讨了创新教学模式的优势,认为此次大学英语教学模式改革对提高学生的综合应用能力,大面积提高大学英语教学质量,具有重要的实用价值。Involved in multiple factors, college English teaching has become a complicated and systematic project. Teaching reform in this field has been receiving considerable care and attention from educational circle. This paper begins with the analysis of current English teaching and illustrates the content and characteristics of the new college English teaching mode adopted by Taishan University, introducing the application procedures of the new mode. Furthermore, it analyzes the students＇ and the teachers＇ evaluation of the mode and the students＇ progress in their English study based on the basis of the data connected in the questionnaires and interviews. The purpose of the new teaching mode is to develop students＇ comprehensive English application ability and improve the teaching quality widely.
