My Brief View on Vietnam's Zeal of Translating Chinese Classical Literature in the First Half of 20th Century

摘　　要：前言 中越两国的文学有着悠久而密切的关系，反映在小说上亦然。中国古典小说很早就传入越南，并对越南的文学产生过深远的影响。比如，明代瞿佑的《剪灯新话》、清代青心才人的《金云翘传》就先后被越南文士模仿或移植，使得越南汉喃文学史上产生了熠熠生辉的杰作《传奇漫录》和《断肠新声》（即《翘传》）。20世纪初，法国殖民者在越南大力推行文字改革，企图从文化上割断越南与中国的血脉联系，Chinese classical novels were popular in Vietnam and it influenced Vietnam＇s people greatly, lots of Vietnam＇s fine works in Vietnam＇s literature history came into being on the background. In the first half of last century, with the reform of Vietnam＇s character, zeal of translating Chinese classical literature appeared. The emergence of the phenomenon had its history and eulture reason, and affected significantly Vietnam＇s language, culture, even its contemporary literature.
