摘 要:本文从交际行为和交际能力这两个纬度研究词块学习对提高英语学习者口语交际的意义。在外显的交际行为方面,词块在语言处理的速度上和准确度上帮助学习者克服即时交际的时间压力和心理压力,提高交际质量。在内隐的交际能力方面,依据卡纳尔和斯温对交际能力的细分,即交际能力包括语法能力、社会语言能力、语篇能力和策略能力4个方面,作者分别考察了词块学习对这4方面能力发展的促进作用。但是文章指出,词块教学与学习必须在交互方式下进行,才能真正有助于提高英语学习者的口语交际水平。This paper, from the perspective of communicative performance and communicative competence, studies the significance of learning lexical chunks to the improvement of oral communication of English Learners. In terms of the external communicative performance, lexical chunks, by improving processing speed and expressive accuracy, relieve learners' time pressure and psychological pressure in real - time interaction. In terms of the internal communicative competence, based on Canale & Swain' s communicative competence theory, which divides communicative competence into four parts, that is, grammatical competence, sociolinguistic competence, discourse competence and strategic competence, the author probes into the important role that lexical chunks play in developing communicative competence in these four respects. However, the paper points out that interactive method is to be employed in lexical chunks teaching and learning so as to improve English learners' oral communication in an effective way.
