摘　　要：可译性限度在翻译实践中，主要发生在语言和文化两个层面上。本文将从英汉动植物词的联想差异所折射的民族文化的差异来分析文化方面的可译性限度，追一步探讨英汉互译的普遍规律。In translation practice, the limits of translatability have two aspects： linguistic untranslatability and cultural untranslatability. The following paper focuses on the latter one from the point of national cultural difference reflected by the connotative difference of animal and plant words in Chinese and English language. And also the paper makes a further study of the general rules in English-Chinese inter-translation.
