摘　　要：重提素质教育理念,结合《千亿个太阳》大学公选课,提出素质教育在大学课堂教学中的重要性,并针对目前大学公选课教学中的一些问题提出一些方法,希望切实将素质教育融入到大学的课堂教学中去.Quality education in university is discussed. Based on the teaching procedures in the optional course ＂100 billion suns—the birth, life, and death of the stars＂, the paper envisages the problems and emphasizes the importance of quality education. The possible approaches to develop quality education are outlined as well. Some comments and suggestions are also made.
