摘 要:在大学公共英语教学中普遍存在着这样一种现象:教师只重视课堂作业的口头讲评,而忽视课后作业的书面评语。其后果是学生面对批改过的作业不知如何改正,因而达不到预期的教学效果。我们认为,英语教学方法亟待改进,英语作业评语的地位也亟待提升。英语作业评语应该是大学公共英语教学不容忽视的一个环节,这是由其自身的特点和作用决定的。Presently, the phenomenon of paying much attention to oral comments on classwork and neglecting written comments on homework exists widely in college public English teaching, resulting in that the students are at a loss to correct their assignments and thus the expected effects can not be achieved. It is believed that the teaching method is to be improved urgently and English assignment comment be upgraded. English assignment comment is a very important link, which is determined by its own features and functions.
