摘 要:"顿悟"是《坛经》中的一个重要思想,是一次宗教修行方法上的革新。从理论层面上,它将六朝以来的佛性论思想进一步深化,普及化,推动了佛教中国化的进程。从宗教实践层面上,它提供给修行人一种方便法门,而对此种方便法门的领悟,须修行者具有大智之利根。"顿悟"的主要内容,是破除按照戒定慧依次修行的传统方法,倡导"定慧等学"。值得注意的是,《坛经》在宣扬此种新的修行方法的同时,并未对"渐修"进行彻底否定,"渐修"仍是那些小根器人所必须经历的阶段。如此认识《坛经》的"顿悟",方可望接近《坛经》的本意。" Insight" is not merely an important thought of Tan sutra , but also a reform of methods of Buddhism practice. Theoretically speaking, insight has further developed and popularized the theory of Buddhist nature since the Six Dynasties, and propelled the course of Buddhism sinaeanization forward. In term of Buddhism practice, insight offers a convenient approach to practise Buddhism, yet it requires a good genius of wisdom to percept such an approach. The main content of "insight" is to do away with traditional method, which claims Buddhism practice from obeying mitzvah to attaining wisdom in proper sequence, and to advocate the theory, which means "to compose one's mentality is equal to gain one's wisdom". Noteworthily, Tan sutra advocates such a new approach of Buddhism practice, meanwhile it does not deny the way of persistent practice, which is essential stage that practicers who have average wisdom need experience. Only when people understand "insight" in this way, can they approach original intention of Tan sutra.
