摘　　要：语言与文化是紧密相连的,中西文化差异、文化成见甚至文化冲突是大学英语教学中的最大障碍,因此适时适当的中西文化导入可以帮助学生在了解本土文化的同时,培养并加强学生的跨文化意识,提高其跨文化交际能力和综合文化素养,以适应社会发展和国际交流的需要。Language and culture are closely linked. Cultural differences, cultural stereotypes even cultural conflicts between China and English-speaking countries constitute the biggest obstacles in college English teaching. Therefore timely and appropriate Chinese and western cultural introduction can not only help college students understand the local culture, cultivate students＇ cross-culture awareness, but also improve their cross-cultural communication capabilities, and offer to adapt to social development and the needs of international exchanges as well.
