对高职院校学生英语学习动机的探究

摘　　要：英语语言学习是一个非常复杂的过程,而学习动机对学习者的语言学习起着决定性的作用。结合教学实际,对高职院校学生英语学习动机进行调查与分析,针对调查结果就如何培养和激发学生积极向上的英语学习动机提出建议,探讨动机在英语学习中的作用,以期加快高职院校英语教学改革进程,提高英语教学质量。English learning is a complicated process, in which motivation plays an important role. Based on the practical situation at our college, this paper discusses the function of motivation in foreign larlguage learning. Then it makes an investigation on and analysis of the motivation of students＇ learning English in higher vocational college. Finally, it comes up with some suggestions on training and stimulating the students＇ positive motivation in English learning, thus speeding up the reformation of English teaching in higher vocational college and improving its quality of teaching English.
