摘　　要：美学思想方式是思想主体对艺术、美或相关问题较自觉的、有一定系统的思考和表述,体现着思想者的审美取向和追求。林语堂在美学思想方式上选择了闲适和幽默的向度,这一选择因区别于现代文学悲剧和正剧的主流选择而显得独特。更内在于这一选择的动力机制是感悟自在生命的美学思维方式。它源出于中国文学与文化的诗性感悟方式,并置入到现代文化多元参照的语境中。受益于这种美学思维方式,林语堂的写作、为学养性、生活的种种都表现出他与众不同的特征。The mode of aesthetic thoughts is the way for man to express his artistic and aesthetic ideas systemically, manifesting his aesthetic orientation and the pursue. Lin Yutang has chosen his aesthetic thought of comfortable and humorous composition. This choice is rather different from modem literary tragedy and the legitimate theater. More, it is an active mode to sense and grasp his comfortable life in the way of aesthetic thinking. This mode has stemmed from Chinese literature and the cultural poetry planted into the context of multiple cultural references. Out of this mode of aesthetics thinking, Lin Yutang＇s writing, scholar cultivation, and life all bear certain particular characteristics.
