摘　　要：《综合教程》是“新世纪大学英语系列教材”的主干教程之一。本文采用问答形式对教程的编写宗旨、理念、结构、内容和教学方法等作了较为详尽的阐述，并介绍了与之配套的“教师手册”和“学习光盘”的编写特色。Zooming In： An Integrated English Course is a major component of the ＂New Century College English Coursebook Series＂, a new coursebook series for China＇s college students published by Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press. This paper gives a detailed description of the coursebook in terms of its aims, compilation concepts, contents, book structure and effective teaching methodology. Distinctive features of its companions - Teacher＇s Manual and Learner＇s CD -are also discussed.
