摘 要:袁敦礼先生的体育教育思想,可从不同视角予以诠释,从体育角度而论,体育是以身体活动为方式的教育,体育活动实为"全部机体"之行为;从体育与健康的关系来说,"体育固对健康有贡献,但其主要目的已非健康矣";从体育学科性质而言,体育为培养全面发展的健全人格的最良学科。袁先生体育观的当代价值主要在素质培养与能力提高不可偏颇,继承传统与创新发展要与时俱进,理论研究与实践操作要言行有据。The physical education ideology of Mr. YUAN Dun-li can be interpreted from various perspectives: from the perspective of physical education, physical education is an education by means of physical activities, while physical exercises are actually the behaviors of the "whole body"; for the perspective of the relation between sport and health, "although physical education is good for health, its primary goal is not health any more"; from the perspective of the disciplinary nature of physical education, physical education is the best discipline for cultivating comprehensively developed healthy personality. The modem value of Mr. YUAN's sports view mainly embodies the followings: capacity cultivation and capability enhancement are equally important; timely progress should be made in tradition inheritance and innovation development; theoretical research and practical operation should be established on a solid ground.
