摘　　要：汕头大学医学院以本科教学工作水平评估为契机，深化新教学模式改革，突出本科教学中心地位，以“精品教育”为主旨，大力改善教学条件，完善教学管理制度，全面提升本科教学工作水平。本文结合新教学模式改革实施过程中积累的经验，探索建立教学质量监控长效机制的宗旨和原则。强调其宗旨在于确保本科教学中心地位，弘扬乐教善学精神，使教与学都处于最佳状态，同时敦促各级领导真正重视本科教学工作；其原则包括科学合理性、既全员参与又坚持教授治教、简单可操作性和历史承接性。Drawing on the experiences gained from the implementation of a new teaching model in the Medical College of Shantou University, we explored the principles of establishinsg a long-term monitoring system of teaching quality. The principles lay in ensuring the central role of undergraduate teaching, foste- ring enthusiasm in both teachers and students, getting administers actively involved in the enhancement of undergraduate teaching. We argued that the monitoring system should be characterized by scientific sound- ness, full staff involvement, integration of teaching with research, practicability and consistency.
