摘　　要：自主学习是目前大学英语教学的一种新的模式,其本身的特点使得大学英语教师的作用由传统的主导作用转换成了与学生的合作与引导作用。就新的教学条件下大学英语教师的作用进行了研究与探讨,分析了教师的五大作用及其理论依据。Leaner Autonomy is one of the new models in college English teaching. Its character makes the function of English teacher change from the traditional leading effects into cooperative actions and inductions. Based on the new teaching model, this article studies the functions of college English teachers and points out five functions and the theories that they are based on.
