西部地区中等职业教育发展现状及问题分析——基于2004年中职生学生数量规模分析

摘　　要：对2004年中国西部各省中等职业教育办学规模及其与东部和全国地区比较分析发现，西部地区中等职业教育滞后于东部地区和全国平均水平；滞后于西部地区普通高中的发展；同时在西部省际间发展也不均衡。西部各级政府应该把职业教育作为经济社会发展的重要基础和教育工作的战略重点，采取有力的措施，推动职业教育持续健康发展。Comparative analysis on School-running scale of secondary vocational education in western provinces and eastern provinces and the whole country show that, secondary vocational education in western region lagged behind eastern region and national average level, and lagged behind the development of general senior high schools in this region, and the development of secondary vocational education among provinces in western region is imbalanced. Therefore, the government of various levels in western region should take vocational education as important basis of social and economic development and strategic emphasis of educational work, adopt effective measures to boost sustainable and healthy development of vocational education.
