论从源头抓本科教学质量  

On the Improvement of Undergraduate Teaching from an Early Stage

摘　　要：通过对嘉兴学院高分子材料专业新生的调查发现,新生在入学初期对科研及考研有浓厚的兴趣,部分学生在进入大学时已经显示出创业的愿望,并且准备在大学期间为创业作准备。从中可以得出,办好专业、提高学校的声誉是吸引高质量新生的主要方法,而及早、有针对性地为学生提供考研、科研、创业等方面的知识及相关的技能训练是提高本科教学质量的有效途径。In order to study ways to improve the quality of undergraduate teaching, an investigation has been made among new students from the Department of Polymeric Materials in Jiaxing University. Results show that the new students expressed deep interests in postgraduate entrance examination and in doing research work, with a number of students planning to prepare themselves to start a business while in college. It can be concluded from the analysis of this paper that the best way to attract quality students is to improve the quality of teaching and the reputation of the cob lege, whilst the best way to improve the quality of undergraduate teaching is to offer students trainings in postgraduate entrance examination, research and entrepreneurship at an early stage of their college life.
