摘  要:胡适是中国新诗运动最早的理论倡导者和创作实践者。本文从《尝试集》里的英译诗"关不住了"与原诗Over the Roofs的对照中,探讨了胡适对现代汉语诗歌节奏形式的初步尝试,阐释了新的节奏运用对诗歌功能表达的作用;分析了新诗草创期诗人在传统的继承和现代诗创格中,翻译外来诗歌的意义。Hu Shi is the earliest theory initiator and creation practitioner in Chinese new poerty movement. His poetry collection Attempt once advocated Chinese new poetry movement by its modem style with “new content and spirit” and “fully emancipated poetry shape”. This article studies his first success on poetry language, rhythm and poetry shape, explains the use of new rhythm to express the functional role of poems; analysis the great significance of early poets' translation in traditional inheritance and a modern creation of poetry, by comparing the translated poem and the original poem Over the Roofs.
