摘　　要：Verschueren的语言顺应论揭示了语言使用的本质特征，为语言教学提供了新的思路。本文对语言顺应论的主要内容作了简要介绍，并探讨了其对大学英语多媒体教学的启示。The theory of linguistic adaptation reveals the essential characteristics of language use, and it enlightens us on language teaching. Based on an overview of the adaptation theory, our discussion in this paper focuses on the enlightenments of the theory on the multimedia-aided college English teaching.
