摘　　要：《打鱼人和他的灵魂》是王尔德一部寄寓深远的佳作,展现了一个唯美主义者的困惑。打鱼人对美的极端追求致使审美走向了感官,从而加重了灵魂的负累,最终酿成了悲剧。这篇童话触及了审美的困境,建立在感性一元论基础上的现代审美主义思潮有其不可避免的局限性。The Fishing Man and His Soul is a far--reaching excellent work of Oscar Wilde, showing the confusion of a Aestheticism. The fishing man led the the aesthetic pursuit to the senses, so as to increase the burden of the soul and eventually led to the tragedy. This tale touches the plight of the aestheticsm, that is the modern aesthetic trend setting up on the basis of monism has its inevitable limitations.
