摘 要:近两年我国高校继续刮起的"抢状元风"不能不引起我们的反思:教育究竟为了什么和应做什么?教育是为了"育才",而不是"制器";是为了全体学生的发展,而不是为了少数的"尖子"或"状元";是为了学生的成功和幸福,而不是以牺牲学生的发展为代价。为此,教育要对学生的健康成长和全面发展负责,坚定不移地推行以"综合"为目标的素质教育;教育必须有清醒的生命意识,时刻关注学生生命的发展;教师应成为尊重学生、引领学生发展的教学改革的探索者;高考必须在素质教育的框架内和指导下进行完善。In recent years, there is a tendency of "vying for the very best" in colleges and universities of our country, which prods us to rethink about what education is for and what education should do. The goal of education is "cultivating talents" but not "making machines"; education is for all the students' development but not minority of "outstanding students" or "the Number One Scholars", and for the students' success and happiness for the sacrifice of students' development. Therefore, education should be responsible for the students' healthy for the but not growth and comprehensive development, and promote the quality education firmly and unshakably; education should have a clear life consciousness and show much concern to students' life development; teachers should become the explorers of teaching reform who respect students and lead students' development; the college entrance examination should be improved within the framework of and under the guidance of quality education.
