摘　　要：普通高校英语专业如何培养具有创新能力的外语人才？这是英语专业教学改革的一个重要问题。以加强学习策略教学为突破口，将学习策略教学与专业内容教学结合起来，促进学生创新能力的培养，不失为一条可行的教学新路径。英语专业学生创新能力在很大程度上应体现在专业学习方面，而学习策略及其应用则可以训练他们在英语学习过程中发现问题、分析问题以及根据不同情境创造性地使用学习策略解决实际问题的能力，进而促进其创新能力的培养。This article intends to discuss the issue on the cutivation of non-key university English majors＇ innovative competence, which is given priority in the syllabus for of Education in 2000. From a new perspective in cutivation of English majors＇ innovative teaching English majors at tertiary level approved by the Ministry reform of teaching non-key university ce by strenghtening the instruction of English majors, it focuses on the learning strategies, including the study of both the connotation and the structure of English majors＇ innovative competence, the approaches to cultivating such competence as well as the relationship between learning strategies ＆ their application and the promotion of cultivating the students＇ innovative competence.
